Serbian IFBB Pro Athlete, Bojana Vasiljevic was born and grew up in Sabac, Serbia.

She is an only child in the family, that has always been involved in many sports including gymnastics, track & field, horseback riding, and fitness.

Bojana was from her early childhood in gymnastics as an active and successful competitor. Her father (who was also a gymnast) enrolled her as a three-year-old girl in the gymnastics school. That was the very important first step for her future athlete carrier. Also, she was active in equestrian sport because of family tradition. Her father is in a professional horse training business, so she was the owner and rider of thoroughbred horses at the hippodrome in Serbia.

She went to the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Sports and Physical Education and in 2010 she earned a degree of Science in Professional Sport Studies. She graduates with the final thesis “Planning of Mezzo Cycle in Fitness Sport, for females in Pre-competitive Period” with a mark of 10 (the highest grade on the grading scale). During her university years, University professors, prof. dr Sanimir Stojiljkovic and prof. dr. Dusan Mitic told her that, she had great potential for fitness & bodybuilding sport. She took their advice, started training, and at that point, competitive fitness found her and she quickly rising to the top of competitive fitness in Serbia. It is interesting that she was competing at the same time in two disciplines – Fitness and Figure (bodyfitness) but decided to make a carrier change in 2010. She successfully switches to Figure and earned her IFBB Figure Pro Card at the beginning of 2013. For Bojana, Fitness is her lifestyle. She is in shape all year round because of the frequent contests and fitness model jobs. Bojana enjoys great prestige and publicity as a top athlete and media personality, in Serbia, the Balkans, and the USA. She moved permanently to the USA at the beginning of 2011 and now lives in Los Angeles, California. She continues to work as a personal trainer and fitness consultant in Gold’s Gym North Hollywood, as well as an international Fitness model. From August 2011 she works in TV Show Lanzate, the segment about fitness on the television Univision, Channel 46, Los Angeles. She really loves to compete and enjoy every moment on stage! Bojana’s plans for the future are to continue to progress in the fitness industry, in every sense: as a competitor, fitness model, personal trainer, and great representative for the fitness industry.

Bojana is available for Personal training and nutrition consultations, online coaching, contest preparation, and meal planning for both male and female athletes, photoshoots, seminars, guest appearances… etc.
